Eleanor Daniel joins as Technical Data Analyst.
MNB Admin
As we announced our £1.3M fund raise with Fuel Ventures, we also appointed Eleanor Daniel as a Technical Data Analyst. WELCOME Eleanor!
So that you get to know Eleanor a bit better, we have asked her the questions below:
Tell us something interesting about you.
I captain a local field hockey team called Manchester Moss Park. Despite being in the lowest division and not winning very much, we are very good at socials and having fun.
Why did you pick MNB?
Because MNB are solving a very real and tangible problem. And everyone seemed super lovely at the coffee morning crossword intro session.
I was also excited to work for a startup as its something I had never done before and was a total contrast to the slow moving cogs of large organisations/public sector that I had previously worked in.
What three words describes MNB for you?
- Contemporary
- Innovative
- Happy
What are your three areas of accountability?
- GIS
- Data procurement and analysis
- Growing a GIS analyst team
What’s your favourite part of the job so far?
Variety of work with opportunities to learn new skills, fast paced environment, and hardly any emails.
What is the next big thing for you within MyNestBox?
Recruiting a new analyst to help keep on top of data imports
What advice would you give to anyone thinking about applying for a job at MNB?
I would definitely apply if you value being part of something new, exciting, and fundamentally necessary whilst being surrounded by lovely people in a supportive and flexible environment.
